Privacy Policy

How Noise Cleaner handles uploaded media, account data, payment records, signed links, analytics, retention, and deletion.

Last updated: August 21, 2026

Media you upload

Audio and video files are uploaded directly to private storage for compatibility checks and processing. They are not made public.

Guest project identity

Guest projects use a high-entropy token stored in an HttpOnly cookie. The database stores a one-way hash rather than the raw token. If you sign in from the same browser, eligible guest projects may be claimed by your account.

File information and generated media

We may store technical media information needed to process the file, along with preview and full cleaned results. We do not use filenames, media URLs, file content, guest tokens, or raw IP addresses as analytics event properties.

Payments and Processing Minutes

Stripe processes checkout and payment details. We store order identifiers, fulfillment state, entitlement records, minute packages, holds, transactions, and refund records needed to deliver the purchased service and maintain financial records. We do not receive full card numbers.

Access controls

Stored media is private. Preview and download access uses short-lived signed URLs, normally valid for 15 minutes. A valid guest token, authenticated account, or active export entitlement is required before the application issues a media URL.

Retention

Guest originals and previews are scheduled for deletion after 24 hours. For a successfully paid or minutes-based project, originals, previews, and results remain available for up to 7 days. Financial records may be retained longer where required. Cleanup removes object files and sensitive project fields such as waveform data and filenames.

Immediate deletion

You can delete a project from its workspace. This requests cancellation and immediate media cleanup. A job already running may take a short time to observe cancellation, but it cannot create a new download entitlement after deletion.

Security and abuse prevention

Production guest uploads may use Cloudflare Turnstile, per-day preview limits, concurrent-job limits, and minimized IP-derived rate-limit records. No system can guarantee absolute security, so do not upload media you are not authorized to process.

Analytics and site measurement

Noise Cleaner uses Google Analytics 4 through the Google tag to understand page views, traffic sources, device/browser information, and aggregate product usage. The deployment can also load Plausible Analytics and Vercel Analytics or Speed Insights when their public environment settings are enabled. For visitors from the European opt-in regions we configure for the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, analytics cookies and non-Google measurement scripts load only after the visitor accepts analytics cookies. Google Analytics may still load in advanced consent mode with storage denied so that Google can receive cookieless measurement pings for aggregate modeling. In the United States, Canada, and other regions where this opt-in banner is not configured, analytics may load automatically. These services may use cookies or similar identifiers such as _ga cookies, and providers may process IP address, referrer, browser, and device information for measurement, security, and aggregated reporting. We do not send filenames, media URLs, file content, guest tokens, signed media links, payment card details, or raw IP addresses as custom analytics event properties. You can limit analytics cookies in your browser settings or use Google's Analytics opt-out tools.

Advertising and third-party cookies

If and when Noise Cleaner displays advertising, third-party vendors — including Google and its partners — may use cookies, web beacons, device identifiers, and IP addresses to measure ad performance and to serve ads based on visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You can manage or disable personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings (https://adssettings.google.com) and through the opt-out page of the Digital Advertising Alliance (https://www.aboutads.info/choices). You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some site features may not work as intended.

Privacy choices for US state laws

For applicable US states, Noise Cleaner intends to use Google's AdSense Privacy & messaging tools to provide a Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information choice when advertising is enabled. That AdSense message communicates opt-out status to Google through supported privacy signals. If you cannot access that choice, contact us through the Contact page and include your region.

Managing cookies and your choices

Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies and similar storage for individual sites. If advertising is later enabled, we will keep ad labels and disclosures accurate, and we will not place ads that imitate content, navigation, or download controls. We do not pass personally identifiable information such as names, email addresses, or guest tokens in ad requests.

Policy changes and contact

We may update this policy as the product and service providers change. The configured support channel on the Contact page is the place to ask a privacy question or request assistance with account data.
